What the video says

The CN Tower is a 553.3-metre-high communications structure in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Workers poured 40,500 cubic metres of concrete on-site to ensure batch consistency. They preferred not to trust the local batch.

The entire structure stays almost perfectly straight.

A Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane helicopter named Olga lifted the antenna in 36 sections. Helicopters make great shortcuts.

Construction began on February 6, 1973. It ended after 26 months with total mass reaching 118,000 tonnes.

The tower opened on June 26, 1976. Its restaurant completed one revolution every 72 minutes.

In 1995, it was declared one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World. The railway gave away the landmark.

It remains the tallest free-standing structure on land in North America. It attracts over 2 million visitors annually.
